Complications
Anyone who has studied the subject knows that home buyers and refinancers would greatly benefit from the addition of solar or other renewable energy installations on their homes; So, the question becomes, why don't more of them do so.
In many cases it is the (perceived) very complicated process involved in purchasing or refinancing a home that stands in the way. New federal regulations on mortgage disclosures have made the lives of loan originators and processors very difficult. The fact is, these days, the MAJORITY of loan originators and processsors are not clear as to the complete process. As such, 'exotic' additions like renewable energy equipment becomes to them just another complicating factor in the loan process.
Can this be overcome? Yes; it must be overcome.
You, as a dealer in Solar, Wind, or Geothermal equipment  must be willing and able to educate Loan officers, Loan Processors, and Real Estate Professionals about your products and that also means the financing of your products.
It is not really as complicated as it seems; but you must take the trouble to educate yourself about the considerable advantages of 'going green'; then plan to pass that education to your real estate professionals.

Energy Independence is vital to America
For America to survive and thrive in the future, we must develop our energy independence. As the world's population grows and the citizens of other nations begin to emulate the lifestyles they see in America and the other developed nations, the demand for energy will explode.
Right now, America uses more energy per citizen than any other nation. In fact it has been postulated that if every human on the planet used the same amount of energy as the average American, we would need seven Earths to provide for everyone.
Our push for clean renewable energy is not only proper, but necessary.
